The Nordic leading partner for green infrastructure recruits Anders Brattwall as new CEO

MVI Fund II’s portfolio company Treeco is the Nordic market leader within plant material and products for construction of green infrastructure.

Treeco is expected to have a turnover this year of more than SEK250m from its operations in Sweden and Denmark. The Nordic market for plant material has in recent years shown a healthy growth in demand which is expected to continue. Cities are increasing their ambitions to give people access to more green areas. Plant material plays a key role in this important life quality trend because it creates a healthier living environment, captures greenhouse gas emissions and provides natural barriers for flooding and other effects of extreme weather.

Treeco is well-positioned to capitalize on this trend, thanks to its significant knowledge of premium products and its ability to cultivate perennial cultures. The company will also digitalize and design further services to create lasting green areas.

One important step on this growth journey is the recruitment of Anders Brattwall as new CEO. He has over 15 years of experience from technical consultancy firms (Rejlers, WSP) and landscape architects (White Architects, WSP). His most recent position was as Business Area Manger Civils within Rejler’s Infrastructure division.

There is a huge potential in green infrastructure. I am so excited to collaborate with MVI and the Treeco team and to work on such a meaningful task as making cities greener”, says Anders Brattwall, the new CEO of Treeco

Congrats to all of us that such a great team player and expert is joining our group as CEO. We will have so much fun on this exciting journey." says Jörgen Andersson Warpman, CEO Stångby Plantskola / acting CEO Treeco

We are very happy that Anders Brattwall will lead Treeco on this growth journey! His extensive leadership experience and strong network is a perfect fit.” – Daniel Nilsson, Chairman of the Board of Treeco
