Nordic Drives Group strengthens its local presence through the acquisition of AJ's Tryckluft AB

Nordic Drives Group continues to grow and is strengthening its presence in Bergslagen through the acquisition of AJ's Tryckluft in Fagersta. The company adds expertise, customers and new colleagues to the group. The transaction was completed on 19 August 2026.

The acquisition is a local add-on acquisition that strengthens Nordic Drives Group's existing operations in the region. AJ's Tryckluft is located close to the group's units in Avesta and Borlänge, creating good conditions for collaboration around shared customers and a broader service offering in central Sweden.

AJ's Tryckluft delivers complete compressed air solutions to industrial customers throughout Sweden. The offering spans installation, service and advisory services relating to compressors and air treatment, as well as energy measurement, optimisation and heat recovery from existing installations. The work is carried out by an in-house team of service technicians, specialists, electricians and sales staff.

The acquisition is part of Nordic Drives Group's continued ambition to become one of the leading players in motors and drive systems in Northern Europe – where local presence, entrepreneurship and personal customer relationships are combined with the collective technology and specialist expertise of a larger group. The goal is to give industry more complete and proactive support throughout the entire lifecycle of a facility, without losing the local proximity that customers value.
