Freedom Group continues to grow with three new acquisitions
Freedom Group continues its growth journey and strengthens its position as Sweden’s most modern advisory and accounting group as three new accounting firms join the group: Lamooi Accounting in Stockholm, Forma Jurister & Ekonomer in Sundsvall, and Ekonomiavdelningen in Kristianstad.
The acquisitions are a part of Freedom Group’s long‑term strategy to combine strong local presence with digitalisation, specialist expertise, and scalable platform services.
Under the leadership of its founder Seven Lamooi, Lamooi Accounting has built a modern and fast‑growing accounting firm with high customer satisfaction and a clear focus on digitalisation and business‑oriented advisory services.
Seven Lamooi describes the choice of Freedom as self‑evident following discussions with several different parties:
"For a couple of years, we have been looking for a larger group that could help us reach our ambitious goals faster and have held discussions with several potential partners, but Freedom stood out. Forma Jurister & Ekonomer in Sundsvall strengthens Freedom Group’s specialist expertise within tax law and corporate law. The firm was previously part of the Baker Tilly network and has established a strong position in providing high‑level advisory services to entrepreneurs and owner‑managed businesses.
Through the acquisition of Forma Jurister & Ekonomer, Freedom further strengthens its strategic focus on specialist and advisory services.
"We see a clear increase in demand for specialist advisory services within tax, legal matters, and ownership‑related issues. Forma adds specialist expertise that will create significant value both for existing clients and through increased cross‑selling within the group," says Emma Strömfelt.

Ekonomiavdelningen in Kristianstad, under the leadership of Johan Larsson, adds further expertise in management accounting and advisory services for small and medium‑sized companies. The acquisition also means that Freedom Group establishes a presence in Kristianstad – another new strategic location for the group.
