Nordic Drives Group Acquires Hirtshals El-Motorservice ApS

Hirtshals El-Motorservice was founded in 1962 and has been led by Flemming Schaltz since 1991. During these years the company has established itself as a reputable name in electromechanical services in northern Jutland.

With a well-equipped electromechanical workshop, Hirtshals ELmotorservice specializes in servicing, troubleshooting, repairing and selling a wide range of generators — including marine generators — as well as the rewinding of electric motors.

In addition, the company has a strong focus on the maintenance and sale of industrial pumps. The main customer segments include the maritime, offshore and wind energy sectors.

‍ Nordic Drives Group is MVI's industrial roll-up in OEM and aftermarket for industrial electric motors and frequency converters, and the acquisition contributes to its goal of being one of the leading players in motors and drive systems in Northern Europe.

Hirtshals EL-Motorservice will be the 4th aftermarket company to join the Nordic Drives Group, further strengthening the Group's geographic presence and service capacity in Denmark.
