Precira was established in early 2026 through MVI’s partnership with Be-Pe Plåt & Mekaniska Verkstad AB and its subsidiary Prolego AB, together with Hartvig Industriteknik AB (HITAB), to create a new Nordic specialist platform in manufacturing.

The initiative is aligned with MVI’s investment focus on societal transformation and reflects a clear strategic ambition to build a scalable, high-quality group in specialist manufacturing. The platform is positioned to benefit from underlying structural trends, including increased industrial investment, rising demand for high-precision manufacturing, automation and the continued reshoring of manufacturing capacity to the Nordics.

Precira is led by CEO Johan Wahlström, who has held senior positions at companies including Euroform Group, Trelleborg and Sandvik Materials Technology/Kanthal. The group’s CFO, Mattias Adebäck, most recently served as Head of Group Business Control at Dometic and has previously held senior positions at companies including Swedish Match and Carla.

Precira’s strategy is based on growing both organically and through acquisitions across the Nordic region. The group’s companies will retain their distinct brand identities while benefiting from shared expertise, cross-selling opportunities and strategic support from group management.
